The Axe is made for rescue.
The spike on the forward edge is to rip through metal, glass and composite.
The thing on the top is a can opener, for sheet metal.
The spike on the back is....well.....a spike.
The head articulates to give better angle of leverage for different applications. For example, the hook can be bent back to form a more closed gap, and used to pull drag and rip.
Tilting the head forward lets you use the can opener at a better angle.

The black part of the handle is Hard ano aluminum.
The other part of the handle is Ti.

In the end of the handle is a inlet that allows the addition of attachments.

Wie wärs, wenn man einen Ansatz mit der Spitze reinkloppt und dann schön mit dem vorgesehenen "Opener" das Blech aufschneidet?

Ich denke mit dem großen hebel kommt man da sehr schnell voran! Das Ding wird als Tool von Mick und ein paar Leuten von der Airforce gerade entwickelt. Ich denke das soll dann so eine Art Tool sein, womit man sich bei versperrtem Fluchtweg schnell einen Weg durch AL Blech bahnen kann. Randall hat in dem selben Zusammenhang mal ein Messer mit spezieller Rückensäge und extra großem Parierelement entwickelt.

mit Zusatz "Airman", oder?

Der Dosenöffner ist ja nicht nur an anderer Stelle, sondern in gänzlich anderem Winkel zum Stil angebracht. Würd ich beides mal gerne ausprobieren!
