Ok, now i got it, thx for the english post...that makes conversation a little more relaxed.
I don´t think the handle was reshaped. For me it looks like it´s just as it left the busse shop.
The handle is tapered near the coil and this should be the explanation for that there are no slots in the first pins.
shane,
i have deleted the german text. forget the translator, it´s too funny  and you can write in english
for example, nice pork ( i know what you mean) was translated in nizza schweinefleisch, nizza is the german word for the french city nice, schweinefleisch means pork meat in your language
anyway, it´s great to have you here as an expert of busse knives
cheers
Arne
ah, you are shane
:welcomesign:
just asked arne to find out some details about my new knife and he told me to ask his buddy shane as an busse expert.
Hey Chris, ein sehr schönes Messer! Könntest Du mal bitte die Klingenhöhe messen? Danke
@ Arne: als ich das letzte Mal da war, war Nizza noch in Frankreich
Klar
Klingenhöhe 2,3cm
Gesamtlänge 21cm
Klinge bis Griffschale 9,7cm
