Lupine makes great lights ... they are a bit expensive but worth the money!
What do you think about the Fenix Bike Flashlight Mount with a flashlight of your choice?
Another great, but expensive brand is Supernova: X7 Ultimate
Or the "Big Bang" from Busch & Müller.
A lot cheaper is the Hope Vision 4 or the MT-Light.
If your price-limit is below 100 €, take a look at Sigma Mirage Evo-X

In a german mountainbike-forum I read much positive comments about this in my opinion very cheap lamp. I consider to order one... All the links from Rorschach are very good, too. Busch und Müller, Hope and Supernova make very good and bright lamps!

I would never buy a light from DX. Buy cheap buy twice...
I would recommend, Lupine , Exposure Lights or Supernova...

For very heavy use i would choose a LUPINE light, but for only going out on weekends i would buy the much
cheaper DX lamp an save the money for going out for dinner with my lady.... 
Between thr price of a Lupine and a DX lamp, there is much of money and space...
In other words, you cant compare these ones. Supernova has the same build-quality like
Lupine and its as least as reliable as a Lupine. But DX lights are not reliable, in no way. Bad constructions
with no quality. An me on my own, when i drive thruogh the woods, i need a safe and reliable light!
100% right if you watch it from this side.
But at least you can built a lamp on your own. You will need about 30min, the product
is pretty cool and as rugged as you built it.

I use an exposure light as front light. they are high quality built, very nice and make a lot of light. 
some models you can find heren. the shop is very good. fast delivering and often very good prices.
