Okay, first I apologize. I really tried to make good photos.
First, what is in the package ... Taaaadaaaam!!! Only folder
A little bit of information:
Big Fat Bowie folder - bigger, left-handed version of the frame lock
total length - 248 mm
closed length - 137 mm
cutting edge - 103 mm
blade thickness - 3.85 mm
handle thickness (one side of slab) - 3.7 mm
blade - Elmax Bohler steel, hollow grind, bead blasted and stonewashed
handle, walk, pin, clip - Titanium
screws - stainless steel
This is a big knife, a really big knife, comparison with a large Regular Sebenza
A bit of interesting things:
blade extend perfectly from the handle and hold your thumb until job.
Cutting between the frame-locke and the rest of handle is very thin. Little edging is not flipper, it cooperating with the stop-pin, thanks to this solution, stop-pin does not working "on point". When the knife is opened, the edging is hiding in the handle and nothing extend. The level of planning and execution is indescribable.
Once again, stop-pin and edging.
Do you see this little rectangle fits into handle? This is lock, that protects the frame-lock.
Blade is maximum long, if you press finger between handle slabs, you can scratch skin, I like it!
Milling of the fram-lock and clip. These two elements I would change. Milling hole I prefer inside handle (but these solution is more strong) because of my pocket. Clips bends in all length. I do not know if it's good or bad, but I like as is in Sebenza, where clips bends near screw, that mounting clip to handle.
Summary:
This is the most perfect folder what I have. Well, I couldn't wait for 4" Sebenza, I have another ideal.
