This first rate " One of a Kind " piece by the hand of Mr. Alfred Dobner (SE) became my own at the 2013 Dutch Knife Exhibition.
I instantly fell in love with this one, my first Damascus knife after years of tiger stripes and G10.
Blastmaster 1972 (Jos) predicted it, my taste for collector pieces is changing, or evolving if you like.
Thanks to all the talks with my friend Gudy van Poppel I am beginning to appreciate this sort of craftsmanship.
Flawless, full of beautyfull details, very well build, a true heavy full size folding knife.
The hand forged line, which follow the blade shape on through the bolsters, makes it a master piece in my book.
Sweet early lock up, killing perfect file work and the detailed but end with lanyard hole, completed this knife.
