    Hello guys.

I'm going in a hunting trip next week and need to buy a Personal First Aid Kit (FAK in english) could you guys recommend a brand or a place were I can buy a good one here in Germany or in Europe. I will like to buy some Quick Clot as well.

Thanks in advance for any information.

    Cheers!

    Hello guys.

I don't know if you guys like this maker but he makes one of the best folders in the market (this is my humble opinion) comparable to the Sebenza, the SMF and other big ones.

This is a XM-24, new model from Rick Hinderer. The one on the far left.

The picture is not mine so I don't take credit for it. :tellem:

Thick: .185" blade, the Ti is also .185"
    Steel: D2

    Blade: 4 1/2"

    Open length: 9 1/4"

    Weight: 7.7 oz.

Warning: I might be wrong on the data from the knife, so double check and don't Quote me on this :knueppel:

So, enjoy and have a good one.

    Hello.

If I were you I will use something like Nevr Dull or Cidol. But you have to be careful If you don't want to loose the blue color. That if you want to use polishing paste. I DONT RECOMEND THIS!

If these knife or knives are so important, get your self Renaissance Metal De-corroder, this stuff will take the rust from the metal and wont ruin the rest of the knife or the finish. This thing really works, I use it for taking of some rust from a spyderco. You can buy it from Kremer Pigmente in Germany.

If you need more info how to use the product or any thing like that send me an email or pm.

I attach a picture of the knife I'm talking about so you know that the finish was very important to me.

    Have a good day.

    Hello guys.

Happy fathers day to you all fathers.

So, again I need the help from the profis :D some of my knives need pants, I need to find someone in Germany that can make some Kydex sheaths for them. Would you guys be so kind and suggest someone please. Web pages, addresses and email would be great

    Thanks guys.

Mind you, these do have kydex inserts.

Yes some is Kydex inserts some is cheap plastic :bibber: but what I meant is the caring thing, like strap it to your leg or carry other knife or folder knife on top of that, put a mole holder for a harness and all of that.

I think this is like wine, you like it or you don't... :D

I have nothing against Kydex, is the other way around , 80% of my knives have Kydex sheaths, but I will like to have the Kydex and a nylon as well, for some knives. I'm just looking for some o'l classy look

    Hello guys.

I'm looking for a sheath for a big knife, I don't want to use Kydex or leather, I will like to go with the classics like Eagle Industries, Spec Ops or BlackHawk.

    Some examples:
    http://www.blackhawk.com/produ…Knife-Sheath,821,1376.htm
    http://www.specopsbrand.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductID=68
Eagle Industries makes the sheaths for Strider big blades.

So, the question is: is there any one in Germany that can make something for me like this?

    Thanks for any help.

You are right, some times they dont have any idea of what to say. That is a great knife, like I said, I had handle them; BUT knives are like wine, different types, odors, colors..... for different people.....or different uses.

Darrel Ralph knives have their use, like Strider or Busse or the different Spydercos.

I bet it was the first time for the guy who write that article handling a Darrel. :loser

Any way, I'm still looking to have more pics... :knueppel:  or more comments on that specific knife

Thanks guys and have a good day.

    Cool! thanks man!
That one you have is like the one in the Magazin, they are monsters! I once saw one with the damast blade, that was expensive but nice.
Thanks for the pics, by the way, what do you think about the one they talk about in Messer Magazin?
    Take care.

    Hello guys.

I have being reading the Messer Magazin from Februar/März (yes I know it takes me some time to read in German :S )

I saw the Darrel Ralph Gunhammer, very nice, last time I saw one of those was in the USA for blade show.
They are nice build and look great! that one in the Magazin is assisted opening, the one I handle was like that and they are fast! 8)

Any of you guys have one? I will like to see some pictures or even better any of you guys is the proud owner of that one in the Magazin?
Or at least any of you have had the chance to handle one?

    So, pics please

    Thanks and take care.
